First District Board Member Benjie Serrano sponsored the BM Benjie Serrano Cup Invitational Basketball Tournament, a two-day basketball league as part of the celebration of Orani town Fiesta.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was held on Saturday (Oct 1) at Brgy. Balut covered court, which was graced by Serrano, Board Member Atty. Tony Boy Roman, and Brgy. Balut Capt. Teresita V. Mangaliman.

Sixteen basketball teams participated in the league. “We sponsored this basketball tournament to make our town fiesta memorable and colorful in veneration of our patron saint Our Lady of Rosary of Orani as well as promote sports”, Serrano said.
